SPRAVATO® (esketamine) is an FDA-approved prescription nasal spray used to treat certain adults living with treatment-resistant depression. It may be prescribed alongside an oral antidepressant or as a standalone treatment (monotherapy), depending on your individual treatment plan.
Unlike traditional antidepressants, SPRAVATO® works through a different pathway in the brain by targeting the NMDA receptor, helping regulate glutamate—a key chemical involved in mood, learning, and brain function. This unique mechanism may help reduce symptoms of depression in people who have not found relief with conventional antidepressant medications.
Treatment is administered in our clinic under medical supervision, typically following a weekly to biweekly schedule based on your provider’s recommendations and your response to treatment.
You may be eligible if:
