Getting Started
What a First Psychiatric Consultation Typically Includes
Your first visit is an opportunity for our clinicians to learn about your history, current symptoms, treatment goals, and any medications you may be taking. This may involve:
- A review of your medical, mental health, and social history
- Discussion of your reasons for seeking care
- Symptom assessment
- Collaboratively setting next steps for your care plan
